FORS accreditation means a fleet operator has demonstrated they have met the requirement of the FORS Standard at audit. It is not a guarantee that all FORS requirements or legal obligations will be met between audits.
FORS Operators are therefore reminded that FORS accreditation and FORS audit report are not to be used as defence in a court of law, at public inquiry or during any enforcement investigation.

To begin your accreditation:
- Register for FORS
- Complete the application form
- Pay the relevant annual subscription fee
What is the FORS Standard?
The FORS Standard explains the requirements you must meet to achieve and maintain FORS accreditation.
It covers areas including:

- Vehicle safety
- Fleet operations
- Environmental performance
- Legal compliance
